MY UNDERSTANDING OF PURPOSE.

Our lives are lived by us, our actions can only be justified by us. There are somethings in life that we would never know, somethings we will never understand, there are some hard decisions we will have to take and make, some will feel our hearts with sadness but the most comforting is "discovering and walking in your purpose". The commonest questions asked are:
       (a) Is it everyone that is with a purpose?
       (b) How do I discover my purpose?
       (c) How do I know if it is the plan GOD has for my life?
       (d) How do I walk in my purpose, how do I fulfill or accomplish it?
 Well, do not rack your brains too much with questions whose answers are already known. Right from the beginning of creation, GOD has given every living creature a purpose. The purpose of sea animals, land creatures is for beautification and life, the purpose of the heavenly bodies is to make a difference between night and day. The first purpose of Adam( the first man created) was to name all other creatures, to have control over them and watch over everything that happens in the garden of Eden.
     Eve was later created and after they both committed the first recorded sin, they letf with different purposes;
-: Adam- till the soil, to feed.
-: Eve- multiply the earth,
(a) Is it everyone that is with a purpose?
          Yea, everything and every humanGOD createdor creates, HE assigned or assigns a purpose to. There is no living creature without purpose. To every man, a purpose has been endowed upon him. Purpose by my definition means, 'a reason to live' or 'something that needs to be achieved'.

I am like a paper boat
that flows on water
as it is being soaked.

My heart thumps
my mind restless
and my soul wanders
in the sorrows and weight of my burden.

Iroko has its pride
and I crave to be like it
my world is filled with silence
like though it is made of graves
why do people see the outside
not caring about the inside.

My eyes portrude
to see the emptiness of my world
the strength behind my effort,
my legs seek to go beyond
but my body is lifeless.

Why am I shattered?!
the unknown torments my knowledge
people build a wall in the centre of me
I am not able to go neither here nor there
my life is dependent upon people
I am so broken
I am the same as a mirror

DANCA CHRONICLES.

I have spent my whole life thinking about myself and no one else, "What if she hates me? Whaif I end up messing up? I am alone in this cruel world where depression is the order of the day.
  I smile on the outsidebut on the inside its a constant battle. I am determined to conquer but in actual fact what am I conquering? My head is boiling hot and my thoughts race constantly, "No one cares about you", I hear a voice say in my head.
 My life has been an everyday torment, when I knew not GOD, it was terrifying but when I knew GOD or met HIM, the torment came to a low key. I join a group and the next thing I know, I feel apart when I am there and together when I am apart. I wonder what makes others better and I only realise it is I that feels worse.
  I want to pray, read, sleep, I need a friend and I need no one, there are too many wants to know where exactly my direction is and the path I am to tread upon.
  I disappoint everyone but most especially I disappoint myself, I feel bad when people around me are sad but used when I do good to them.
  My world has been a fight from day one and it is true, no one knows what you are going through unless you let them know, they only understand what you show and tell them.
  If you ask me about friends, I will simply ask back, "Do they really exist?" I have been hurt too many times by the one friend I thought I could trust (myself), so, now all I see are people who try to make you happy when you are filled with so much sadness.
 I am sure your heart is filled with PITY for me, considering how miserable my life seems to be, well, do not have pity on me. My journey as only begun and I believe somewhere in my free heart that my Redeemer liveth and is coming for me *smile*. It does not end, I hope that you continue this journey with me as I make a chronicle of the vain (life). I am the Danca on a mission to conquer myself (bring my body to subjection), the worldand the vanity that eludes our soul.

Thunder and lightning strikes the whole town, the cry of a baby is heard, the Chief priests play the Harp welcoming the entrance of the Danca.
    Her beauty so soft, scary fair, shinning diamond pearl. Her tears moved sweetly as the sweetness dripped from the rain. Her parents feared because her eyes were like no other(unique).
    She grew up of course, not as any ordinary person but as the beauty of the town.
  Her talent is wise, appreciateful common but different good. She danced swiftly, moved melodiously, she was charming, scary and scared, shy but sure.
 she never showed it though she hid it and danced for those who wanted to see. Troubled about the world, restless with her thoughts, she danced till the world noticed, not giving up her gold, she walked her way to high inspirations.
   This is my story, like I said before my name is Marie. St. Luke, I was the one who gave you the rules to become a star under the spotlight. Well, this is how I played mine according to the rules......Danca chronicles.

SAVE THE FROGS.

Amphibian frogs

love warm and cool places

where there is peace and love

in unity they stand

in pain they grieve together.

They are slimy, webbed-feet

they are self-protected

they are lousy

and hardly ever quiet.

Frogs are beautiful

they come in varieties of colors

frogs are friendly

frogs are happy

frogs mind their business.

Frogs are of no danger to man

unless if diisturbed

frogs are quiet

they deserve a chance to live.

On raining days

they come out

frogs are playful

frogs are the best pet

to share a problem with.

Frogs live both on land and water

frogs can barely hurt a man

except if attacked.

Sadness will roll down my cheeks

if all frogs were killed

except one

emotions will rumble in my heart

pity on my face

my hands full of pain

but my heart full of love

if I foundonly a survivinng frog.

Frogs are prone to danger

some die of infectious diseases

their habitat easily polluted

some farmers perform over harvesting

and other times Frogs die from nature.

Frogs are cool

their bulgy eyes unique

and the coolest tongues

that can be elongated and folded.

If I am giving a chance

through members of media

big personalities, hand-bills

I will ensure that the frogs

are properly taking care of

their habitat safely kept

and it is pollution free.

FREEDOM.

In the movies I watch and even some of my friends, the common thing we teenagers wish for is freedom. Freedom to make our own choices, do what we want to do and be all of our dreams. In the past years, this as caused alot of arguement though it sometimes feels like our parents are wrong but have you everconsidered the fact that they can be right; which is why I have decided to use my own little experiences to write on this topic. In recent times I have realised that the more children grow up the more they seek for unwanted freedom includingmyself sometimes...*laughing*.
        Our parents can be annoying (yeah), authoritative and you now always wanting to be in control. Most especially, when they are old. According to some teenagers, their parents become unbearable and demanding/expecting. some say theirs are worse but I sy all parent have the same good intentions and motives and one thing they never fail to do is shower us with love and care. they can hurt us, go to extremes but it is always because they want the best. When my parents scold me, spank me, I get angry and then I act rude so they ask me to leave. I go and sit down and a simple question comes to my mind, "What if they were not here?"when you are down, when you have no friend, when you have no where to go or no one to go to, they will be your guardian angel at lonely and confusing times. There are two most important people in your life, GOD and your parents.
    It is your actions of today that speak foryour tomorrow. To end this,I want each and everyone of you to know that thw word PARENTS represent six of the greatest things in life. Appreciate your parents:
        In cold weather,
         they offer blankets, socks, cardigans
        and they also cuddle us.
        When a situation becomes stormy
         they put our needs first.

         When we want to get involved in something
          they seek to know more
          they ponder more than we do
          when we want to hang out with friends
          they question the friendship
          that is a stranger to them.

          When we offer advice
           when we make a decision
            they respect all
            believing in us.

           Before we wake go to school
           they educate us
           for our traditions
            they educate us.

            It never matters
            if it is we
            they are ready to do all good.

            When we make a mess
             they tolerate us
             when we make mistakes
              they tolerate some mistakes.

              Before we start making friends
              they are our best friends
              before we start attending parties
              we have family dinners.
               They all stand as one
               ready to fight for their children.

               In Afirca, Asia, Europe
               parents are all the same.

PROTECT, AUTHORITY, RESPECT, EDUCATE, NURTURE, TOLERATE AND SOCIALISED.

THE STARS THAT CAUGHT MY EYES.

A STAR UNDER THE SPOTLIGHT.

                            

Marie St. Luke is what most people call me but I call myself Marie star simply because I have the looks, the brain and the talent. Now all I need to exhibit all of these is to become more talented, well-known and the fame is mine, as easy as this might sound there are a lot of rules to becoming a star and I call these rules; climbing the ladder to get to the roof top.

    In my world, we have the good and bad, being bad to some people brings all of the fame but in the game of fame, the good is what rules and the bad fails. Today, when they were to choose the head of all prefers, Zainab was chosen not because she was brilliant but her good justified all of her other qualities so also according to the bible, the good is always victorious and the bad always has a story to tell. The bad can be well-distinguished from the fame.

   Rule#2, according to the bible, a woman who has self-respect is to be praised and adored, so in the world of fame in order for you to excel, you need to have self-respect and also know how to work our ways through the days of our fame.

   Rule#3, never let the fame work you out but instead work the fame out, life might be difficult when you let the fame take control of your personal and public life. Living a famous life might be hectic if only you do not have fun with it but as you live the world of fame, you should also learn to play with it.

   Rule#4, never get desperate for fame, you should never chase a dream of fame but you always live a life of fame and never let your thirst for fame betray what your true personality is.

   Rule#5, fame is innocence, you should never be found in a place full of guilt but a place of innocence, avoid a life full of black sheep. When it comes to fame, the innocent is always adored and the centers of attraction just like Carrie Underwood and Casting crowns.

    Rule#6, you should know the rules of fame before striving to get it because when you have the fame but lack the intelligence and rules of the game then the player is bound to loose just as in Scrabble game.

   Rule#7, never tell a lie. You never know who may hear the lie, so you have to be sure of what you say before you say it because as long as you are famous, the paparazzi knows all your moves and is ready to capture what you said and what you did not even say.

Rule#8; never go against the rules of righteousness. Without criticizing anyone most people with the world’s highest fame and popularity lack what is called righteousness and as it is commonly said ‘what goes up must come down’, also those whose fame is not built on GOD are on a slippery ground. Do not always expect to remain in a particular position because life is full of ups and downs. GOD loves the righteous ones.
